A smile makeover allows you to improve the appearance of your smile.
It involves one or more of the following procedures such as porcelain veneers, CEREC®, composite bonding, dental implants and Zoom® teeth whitening.
Who should consider a smile makeover?
Anyone who wants to improve their smile should consider this. We all know how important a good smile is for our success and ultimately our happiness.
Our cosmetic dentist and dental technician consider many factors such as skin tone, hair colour, facial proportions, teeth, gum health and shape and lips to create your ideal smile. Customised smile design is possible as your individual needs are different.
Common smile issues
Tooth colour: dark or discoloured teeth may suggest an aged mouth. Well-shaped, bright, white teeth lends to a youthful appearance. Old silver amalgam fillings can now be replaced with natural, tooth-coloured composite resin or CEREC® porcelain restorations, while Zoom® teeth whitening can improve the colour of stained or dulled teeth. Our cosmetic dentist will find the right balance between providing you with a brighter, whiter smile and maintaining a natural tooth colour.
Alignment of teeth: teeth that are crooked, overlapping or have gaps between them can be straightened and aligned using many options. We offer not only conventional braces but also other less visible options such as ceramic brackets, Invisalign® and lingual braces.
Missing teeth: missing teeth can negatively affect the appearance of your smile, as well as changing your bite and increasing your risk for tooth decay and fractures. This makes teeth replacement an integral part of oral health and facial aesthetics. Missing teeth can be replaced by dental implants, bridges or partial dentures.
Harmony and balance: uneven, chipped and cracked teeth can be cosmetically bonded for an improved appearance, and a gummy smile can be re-shaped to help improve the overall look of the smile.
Fuller lips, smile and cheeks: an unshapely or ageing face can be improved or rejuvenated with modern dental techniques.
